Alwar – My first trip to Rajasthan
At last some randomness, some unpredictability from monotones life 🙂
It was my first visit to Rajasthan and we were in Alwar this weekend. Its closest city of Rajasthan from Delhi (Approx. 180 KM). Sariska tiger reserve is just 40KM from Alwar, it was closed though due to off season (Tourists can get passes between Oct-Mar). Some part of it was still open due to a Hanuman Temple. Rates of RTDC hotel near Sariska tiger reserve was unreasonably high.
We spent second day in Alway, went to Bala fort and Siliserh lake. It was lush green all around due to rainy season. Other place which we could not make was Bhangarh Haunted Fort.
