Yup! I am still around, getting busier day by day though.
Covered Trek Founder’s Ride in Delhi recently (28 July 2019), got an opportunity to shoot the way I always wanted, posting few photos of that ride.
Though they disrupt traffic a bit, but I have found them photogenic.
Noticed few herds of cattle came all the way from Rajasthan for grazing abundantly available grass in Delhi NCR region.
I was out to eat Daal Fry and Butter Roti in a Dhaba, thought that we both were more or less searching for same opportunity… better food 🙂
Visited Mehrauli today, so much of history scattered around. Yog Maya Temple is said to be more than 5000 years old (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yogmaya_Temple). Then Qutub complex, plenty of Hindu, Jain and Islamic ruins scattered around, Unfortunately Wikipedia couldn’t gather more than few paragraphs for thousands years old history (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qutb_Minar).
Another trip to nearby city Jaipur (Rajasthan), can’t wait for winters to arrive :)… planning again for Puskar Camel Fair, not sure will be able to make it or not…
Was about to waste 3 days long weekend, all of sudden decided to visit Jaipur, Ajmer and Pushkar. Started Saturday night and returned back Monday evening. Was shooting mainly people 🙂
I have been to Haridwar and Rishikesh in 2004, got an opportunity to visit Rishikesh again this year. There are plenty of weekend destinations nearby Delhi. In summer we have hill stations and in winter we have Rajasthan.
This time its just right weather for a place not so cool not so hot. So we have decided to go to Rishikesh, lush green surroundings a shallow hill river and little rain sometimes. This is one of the offbeat destinations from the list I have. The resort name is Elephant Brooks Resort 🙂
While crossing the river to resort, one of us slips, it was a fun 😀
